Radiesse®

Radiesse® is an injectable filler used to reduce facial creases and folds, depressions and blemishes such as acne scars, and used to restore fullness to shallow cheeks.

Radiesse™ is comprised of microspheres of calcium hydroxylapatite, combined with an aqueous gel, identical to the chemical structure of calcium naturally present in the human body.

Once injected, the product’s cream-like texture resembles that of normal facial tissue. The body’s own tissues will integrate with the Radiesse microspheres as a natural process of the body, restoring fullness to treated areas. Treatment time is approximately 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the number of areas being treated.

Unlike products that lose their effectiveness within only a few months, Radiesse lasts up to one year. No skin testing is required. The procedure is painless; results are immediate; and patients can return to their normal activities after treatment.
