Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning, also known as Epidermal Leveling, is an exfoliating treatment that removes the layer of dead skin to give you a fresh and youthful appearance. A surgical blade is held taut against the skin, like shaving, to remove the dead skin cells. This will leave your skin smooth and fresh. Dermaplaning is good for uneven skin, acne scarring, fine lines around the mouth and eyes, removal of any “peach fuzz” on the face, or for men who experience skin irritation after shaving. Dermaplaning is also a safer skin treatment as no harsh chemicals are used to treat the skin. You also can target problem areas of the skin easier.

It is recommended that you have dermaplaning done once every three to four weeks, to coincide with your skin cycle. Dermaplaning is a safe and non-surgical way to freshen up your look. Dermaplaning is only performed on the face and excludes the nose, eyelids, chest and neck.
